There are still 4 days more to my country’s celebration of its 50th years of independence. We are seeing banners of Malaysia flying around in almost every blogs written by Malaysians. One thing that strikes me is our fellow Malaysians’ pride - of being a Malaysians.
So, my point is: if you are not seizing this marketing opportunity, I don’t know when will be a better time.
Exabytes perhaps is the front runner upon all. If I’m not mistaken, their merdeka promotion campaign started even before the year of 2007. And there are severals of them. Including the Love Malaysia and Win contest, their Merdeka Bee short video, and selling .my domain names for half the normal price (I did grab some of it).
Acmamall, my favourite online bookstore also joined the race: 25% of all the books by key in the promotional code - MERDEKA. Our local e-commerce solution provider, Neowave also have some interesting promotion in lieu with the great event.
In fact, a Google search will reveal there are a plenty more promotions running on.
