The list goes on. It has been here since 1998, I think.
Yeah, it probably is a better way to pitch to unacknowledged client. At least, it is easier to be understood than search engine optimization. “Submission” sounds lot more digestive than “Optimization”.
For SEO like us who have been doing it for years, or somebody who actually read the SEO guidelines by Google understands that it is all bull. You can submit to search engines for free. And more importantly, you do not need to submit your website to search engines to be listed there.
It is nothing revolutionary as many SEO have stressed it over and over again throughout the years. Website get listed (or indexed) in search engines by robots crawling through links from other website. But the search engine submissions pitch is still going strong.
Not really? You might say. I thought so too. The crowds are getting more acknowledged and educated, especially about SEO. Or is that really the case? There are SEM companies that still provides search engine submission services thrives, or even make into Inc.500 list. We are talking about the No.1 SEM agency (in the list), and yes they offer search engine submission.
Nothing against these agencies because afterall, it is all business, right?. What do you think?

Hi buddy, SE submission is really FOC. But too many newbies on net are lazy to find the ways, so they dont mind to pay it. Of course, if all know about it, then is better, no need to be charge $XX.
I already start a company right now, and buddy, all about blogging. Thanks for your encouragement when we first time meet at penang, really help me until now.
