I learned from Kathy Sierra’s blog that October is National Book Month. Well, time to read more. So if you are like me who doesn’t want to spend on buying books, this post is for you. Hey, how bout free ebooks?
Here are the lists, you might read some but won’t hurt to see if you miss any. And no, you won’t need to enter any email address to have the ebook delivered to you (*wink):
Zero dollars, a little talent and 30 days : Jennifer Laycock’s (chief editor of search engine guide) laid down her 30 experience of online business.
Viral Marketing With Blogs: A pretty self explainatory classic from Brian Clark of Copyblogger.
55 Ways to Have Fun With Google: By the people that loves (to play around with) Google for the people that loves Google. Chapter 9 kept me laughing for 1 minute.
Advertising 2.0 : Paul Beelen talks about advertising in the new era of technology.
Knock Knock: Pay per click advertising in the language of marketing master Seth-Godin.
Capture. Deliver. Excel: Ilja van Roon said good business writing is a skilled to be learn. This little book tells you exactly how to achieve it.
Authority Site Guide : A short (consists of few pages) guide on building an authority site.
Dive Into Accessibility: The best I’ve read on making a site more accessible. Answers 2 questions: why and how to a better accessibility web site.
How To Be Creative: The essence of Hugh Macleod’s wonderful gaping void blog. The book (or manisfesto) covers everything that matters from being creative, to living (and thriving) of an artist life. A must read for dreamers, artists, entrepreneur, everybody :)
Beginner’s Guide To Corporate Blogging: Everybody and his dog have a blog nowadays. What? Your company doesn’t have a blog yet. Fine, throw your CEO this ebook.
Building Traffic with Article Marketing: Brian Clark + Yaro Starak = Article + Marketing = More Traffic.
Update:
Manage Your Writing: Kenneth Davis describes business writing as a process. Just like around the clock, the book starts with chapter 12 and ends with chapter 12 (don’t get me wrong, it still has lots of chapters within it). Great read to improve your business writing.
I guess that’s more than enough to occupy your reading time for the month. Came across any nice and free ebook? Don’t be selfish, share it with us! :)
