30 seconds brag

by Lim CS on September 3, 2007

Google seemed to be doing some of its usual reshuffling of ranking again. This time, please allow me to do a very unusual brag while it is still there.

Not that it is any big deal, but I’ve got the top ranking I’ve ‘wished’ for!

So there’s the guy that rank No.1 for “Malaysia SEO”.

Oh, the same guy topped for “SEO Malaysia” too.

The ranking probably will be gone tomorrow, so that’s the reason for the bragging.

However, I would like to stress again here. It doesn’t matter if you rank very high for certain keywords; what really matters are the amount of targeted traffic you are receiving. But hey, it sure feels good to rank higher against others ;)

*end of “more than 30 seconds brag”.

Actually I think you *deserve* the top ranking. IMHO you’re a real SEO, unlike many others who claim to be so and modus operandi are meta tags and links from external sites…

Anyway, congrats on the top ranking. Cheers and keep up your hard work.

Thanks David.

Anyway, in this latest Google Dance, Google put more emphasize on links from authority, theme-based blogs (which is the only source I got my links) instead of quantity of the links nor the website ages. Which explain why ;)

Congrats!

Congrats! :)

Now that I’m finally back from Perth, I’m hoping to meet you in KL sometime soon.

Thanks, Jason and Larry.

Yeah, will drop you an email when I go to KL next month.

Congratulation Lim !

any where, I don’t mind anyone rank higher than me, as long as I am top 5 for that particular keyword. :)

actually to rank “malaysia seo” in top 10 is not difficult. If a person can rank top 10, or even top 30 for “seo services” or “SEO consultant” (which i think it is very competitive because you are competiting with the world’s SEO experts) in google.com , I will salute to him.
:)
